Hiring a senior front-end developer

Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer (Hybrid - Zurich/Lugano)
Location: Zurich, Lugano, Switzerland (Hybrid Flexibility)

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable JavaScript applications using React, Next.js, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Write, troubleshoot and optimize layouts with TailwindCSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (back-end developers, designers, product managers) to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Integrate and customize CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Directus, other headless CMS platforms) to meet client requirements.
• Design and optimize database interactions using relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (e.g., Prisma).
• Engage directly with medium to large enterprise clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure project success.
• Mentor junior developers and advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and system architecture.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and propose innovative solutions to complex challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong portfolio of JavaScript projects.
• Expertise in React and Next.js, along with proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (headless or traditional) for content-driven applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases and ORMs for efficient data management and querying.
• Proven track record of collaborating with medium to large enterprise clients, including requirement gathering and solution delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German or Italian is a plus).

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
